As a Service User, we collect personal information provided by you when you set up an account with iHelp, including the user name you select when setting up an account (whether personally identifiable or not) and your date of birth. If you do not want to be personally identifiable, please do not include information that might identify you as part of your user name.
Professionals with registered iHelp accounts may view your profile and the limited information provided by you on this profile (i.e. your user name and date of birth).

As a Service User, if you engage in communication with a Professional through iHelp, you may voluntarily provide, or be asked by the Professional to provide, personal information to facilitate the Professional’s provision of services to you.

In addition, our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information we hold. However, we will not be held responsible for any unauthorised access to your personal information.
You can play an important role in keeping your personal information secure by maintaining the confidentiality of any password and accounts used in relation to our products and services. Please do not disclose your password to third parties. Please notify us immediately if there is any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security.
A business that supports our services and products may be located outside New Zealand. This may mean your personal information is held and processed outside New Zealand.
Subject to certain grounds for refusal set out in the Act, you have the right to access your readily retrievable personal information that we hold and to request a correction to your personal information.
